Baked Pork Chops

This is a really easy meal to cook up on a weeknight.

Sometimes it is hard for me to stray away from frying a pork chop. It can be breaded or not breaded, my first choice is to put it in a pan and fry it!

However, this is a great option whenever you want a pork chop. My family loved them and I hope yours does too!

  • Boneless pork chops (I baked 7)
  • 1/4tsp Mrs. Dash garlic herb seasoning, on each side of the pork chops
  • 1/8-1/4tsp salt on each side
  • 1/8tsp pepper on each side
  • 2tbsp butter
  • water

Use a 9X13 pan to place your pork chops.

For the salt, I put 1/8-1/4tsp per side on the directions because I find 1/4tsp is almost too much, so what I do is almost fill up my 1/4tsp measuring spoon. I put the salt right under the "fill" line and find it is perfect. If you are trying to watch your salt intake or are sensitive to salt, you may want to use 1/8tsp. I do the same for the pepper. My kids told me their mouth was like a volcano and my husband thought they had too much pepper with 1/4tsp, so again you may want to start at 1/8tsp as listed and adjust to taste.

Sprinkle with the amount of Mrs. Dash listed on each side.

Put just enough water in the pan to cover the bottom.  Lift up the pork chops so the water goes under them as well.

Cube up the butter and place a few little pieces on top of each pork chop.

Bake on 350 for 1 hour.
