Mushrooms are fabulous, especially this recipe. I love to make these on nights we have a steak dinner. They are the perfect side to a piece of meat.
1 large pack of large button mushrooms (cut into 4's, if large enough)
1 stick of butter
2 tbsp garlic
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tbsp dry red wine or more to taste!
In a sauté pan melt your stick of butter along with the garlic
Cook down for a minute, don't let your garlic burn
Place mushrooms in and let cook down for 10 minutes
Put in your salt, pepper, and red wine
Cook down for another 5-10 minutes until they get glazed
