shrimp and grits

You know what yall? My whole goal of this website is to bring you home-cooked meals that are written so easy that it inspires you to create them. Not only do I want them to sound easy and be easy to read, but I obviously want them to be tasty as well.
I try to take the classics from New Orleans and bring them to your home. Many people travel down here and the biggest thing they want to do? EAT! Hell yes is all I can say to that. You are my people. I want to feed you. And when you can’t afford to pack up and come to New Orleans, I hope to bring it to you!

Let’s start with the shrimp!
1 stick of butter
1.5-2 lbs peeled and deviened shrimp
1/2 tbsp chopped rosemary
1 tbsp slap ya mama original seasoning
1 tbsp paprika
2 tsp worcestershire

Grits:
8 cups water
2 cups Instant Grits (I don’t care who says use real grits all the time, sometimes as a home cook, parent, you don’t have time for that… Go for instant! They’re good!)
1/2 cup cream cheese
1/2 cup cheddar
2 tsp slap ya mama white pepper blend
1/2 cup green onions chopped
1 tsp salt
