shrimp pizza

I love shrimp and I love pizza, it seems only natural I would marry the two! Weirdly enough, I am not the type of person who likes chunks of meat on my pizza.  You see all those fancy pineapple chicken, chicken alfredo pizzas, I don't go for those.  So for me to put some shrimp on pizza, it really is out of my comfort zone.  I think the flavors combined make it a really lovely pizza!

  • 1 pizza crust (about 12 inches)
  • Boiled Shrimp
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 6 large button mushrooms sliced thin
  • Thinly sliced pancetta (a few pieces cut into strips)
  • 1 tsp Slap Ya Mama cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup finely grated parmesan cheese

  • Heat oven to 500
  • In a medium skillet, melt butter and add sliced mushrooms
  • Cook down mushrooms and add cajun seasoning and garlic powder
  • Add shrimp (Cut into desired sizes or keep whole)
  • Add the heavy whipping cream and allow it to boil and thicken up a bit
  • Add parmesan cheese
  • Pour on top of pizza dough
  • Cook for 10 minutes or until done
