fried feta stuffed olives

Oh these little babies right here… they do something to me! Once upon a time, we went to our favorite dinner place on “Italian Night” and this was our appetizer. I loved them. They had a marinara sauce to dip them in, which was fine but not needed.
The batter is crunchy, the olive is soft -but not too soft- and the feta is nicely melted when you bite into it.

Ingredients:
About 20 olives (stuffed with feta)
Coating:
Bowl 1: 1 large egg, beaten
1/2 tsp slap ya mama seasoning
Bowl 2: 1/2 cup flour
Bowl 3: 1/2 cup italian bredcrumbs
1/2 tsp slap ya mama seasoning

Directions:

Dry olives off with a paper towel
Place about 2-3 inches of oil in a frying pan
You may need to flip them if using this method
*If you use a fryer or deep fryer, use per directions provided with your fryer on how much oil to use
Heat oil to 350
Take a few olives at a time, roll them in the flour
Roll them in the egg
Roll them in the breadcrumbs
Place carefully in the hot oil and fry until just golden
Repeat until done
