Spinach dip

Spinach Dip is a classic appetizer that isn't hard to make. I love mine with lots of cheese and a little kick of spice! 


  • 2 frozen blocks of chopped spinach 
  • 1/2 stick of butter 
  • 3 tbsp chopped garlic 
  • 1 (8oz) creole cream cheese- if you can't find this local, sub out for Mascarpone cheese 
  • 2 (8oz) cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese 
  • Slap ya mama cajun seasoning
  • Cayenne


  • Cook the spinach according to the package 
  • Melt down the 1/2 stick of butter in a pot 
  • Add the garlic and cook until fragrant 
  • Add the spinach and all of the cheeses 
  • Add seasonings and adjust to taste
  • Serve on baguette toast, Ritz crackers or Tortilla chips
