BRINED FRIED CHICKEN

I mean, you can keep baking chicken if you want. But if you want dang good chicken, you fry it. And if you want dang darn good chicken, you brine it then fry it. What happens different when you brine it? You get this ridiculous moist and tasty chicken.

Brine:
1/4 cup salt
1/4 cup Slap Ya Mama original seasoning
1/4 cup sugar
8 smashed garlic cloves
4-6 cups water
Frying:
Oil (canola)
2 cups flour
Slap ya mama


In a sauce pan, bring about 2 cups of water to a boil
Add the ingredients and allow it to mix well
Pour into a container and fill it up with the rest of the water
Add cut up pieces of chicken and allow it to soak overnight or at least 6 hours

Take chicken out of the brine
Pat dry
Sprinkle slap ya mama on top
Toss each piece of chicken in the flour to coat it and then place it in the hot oil
Fry until internal temp reads done
