Everyone loves chicken tenders, right? I love hot wings, so instead of frying separate wings for myself and tenders for my family, I make my hot sauce to put with the chicken tenders to satisfy us all.  And, if you don’t feel like mixing too much stuff, you can use my other version sauce which is just slap and crystal hot sauce mixed.
You can fry some tenders and put aside for the kids while saucing your's up!

Ingredients: for frying chicken

  • 1lb chicken tenders

  • Slap ya mama cajun seasoning

  • 2 cups flour

  • canola oil for frying

Sauce:

  • 1 oz tabasco sauce

  • 1 cup crystal hot sauce

  • 1/2 stick butter

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1tsp vinegar

  • OR use this version:
1/3 cup slap ya mama hot sauce
    1/2 cup crystal hot sauce
    1/2 stick butter

Directions:

  • Heat oil in a large pot to fry your tenders in

  • Lay out the tenders and sprinkle with Slap ya mama seasoning

  • Lightly flour and shake off excess

  • When oil is about 350, place the chicken in and fry until done

  • Place on a wire rack until ready to serve

Make the sauce

  • Melt the butter on low

  • Add all the other ingredients, don't get the heat too hot or it will separate

  • Place the tenders you want to coat in the sauce pot and toss them around

  • Serve!
