When people find out I cook, almost every single one of them ask if I can make a cobbler. Cobbler is one of those Southern happy dishes. Peach cobbler screams summer time down here and we look forward to that big ole scoop of vanilla ice cream served with it to cool us down.

Ingredients:
Peach mixture:
24 oz peaches sliced
1 stick of melted butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp flour
Cobbler:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla
Topping:
1/4 granulated sugar
1/4 brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425
Mix up your peach mixture first, starting with the dry ingredients
Toss the peaches in the mixture, making sure they are all covered
Melt butter and pour into a 11x13 baking pan
Dump peach mixture ontop of the melted butter in the pan
Cook for 10 minutes of 425
Mix the cobbler mixture while the peaches cook
When peaches are done, take it out of the oven and bump your oven down to 375
Pour cobbler mixture on top of the peaches
Mix the topping
Spread the topping evenly over the top
Bake for about 25-30 minutes
Enjoy!
