This is an easy dish to throw together.  My kids and I love to make it for lunch.  It's not even really a recipe, it's just an idea for you.  I will post a picture of my favorite marinara sauce and pasta, and urge you to try it!  It's hard to find a great marinara, and this one is it for us.

Ingredients:

  • Angel hair pasta(Garofalo preferred)

  • Sal and Judys Daterini Marinara

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

  • Red Pepper flakes

Directions:

  • Cook your pasta according to the directions

  • When done, strain pasta

  • Use the same pot to warm your Marinara

  • You can add salt and pepper now, if you feel it's needed- I add a pinch or so of salt sometimes

  • If you like a little kick (like me!) add some red pepper flakes to your bowl

Absolutely this best Marinara sauce.  You really do not have to add a single thing to this sauce. The best part is, it is low in sugar and salt! If you're not local to Louisiana, you can order it online.  Sal and Judy's.

You may think there is not much to buying packaged noodles.  But, I am here to tell you there is!  This brand is really fabulous.  When the "cheaper" pasta is on sale for $1 a pound, this is only .30cents more.  Trust me, it is totally worth it to splurge that .30cents. Try it next time! It cooks so perfectly, and so soft. The BEST part of this, the only ingredient is Durum wheat semolina.  The absolute best for making pasta.
