Wine and lemon butter pasta

This may very well be the lightest pasta I’ve ever made. One night I was cooking and almost made a mac and cheese, but I decided I wanted something really light… so I wouldn’t eat so many noodles. Because you know if you have mac and cheese you are gonna eat the whole damn pan, amiright!
I like the tart, lemony taste of this pasta and the red pepper flakes give me the heat I always crave.

1 lb penne pasta
1/4 cup dry white wine
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp flour
Red pepper flakes

Cook pasta according to package
Melt butter in a pan on medium high
Mix in the flour and stir around
When flour bubbles add the white wine and lemon juice
Add garlic and cook until fragrant
Add pasta and toss well
Top with red pepper flakes
