Creamy Hashbrowns

So let’s be honest here. We all need a short cut sometimes, and here is one of mine. These hashbrowns that are frozen, they are really good y’all! Why not fancy them up and make them even tastier? In less than an hour you can have a decadent side dish with leftovers to use again later in the week.

1 LB hashbrowns (shredded style)
1 stick butter
1 cup diced onions
1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
1 cup cheddar cheese
3 cups heavy whipping cream
1 tbsp slap ya mama seasoning
Directions:
Heat oven to 350
Melt stick of butter in a heavy bottom pan
Sautee onions and bell pepper for about 3-5 minutes when they are soft
Add the hashbrowns to the pan
Bring to a simmer and place in the oven
Cook until golden on top and potatoes are cooked tender (about 30-45 minutes)
