I have had so many requests to put up bananas fosters anything. Ha! I think when people think of New Orleans, they associate this dessert with us. No worries, here is my first dessert including it. It’s one of my favorites!

3 bananas
3 tbsp butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tbsp banana liquor
Crust:
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 cup crushed pecans
1 stick melted butter
1/4 cup sugar
Cheesecake:
4 cream cheese blocks (8oz each)
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tbsp vanilla
3 eggs

PREHEAT oven to 350
Make the crust:
Place the pecans in a baggie and smash them up! (Fun for kids!)
Mix in a bowl with the graham cracker crumbs
Add the sugar, stir around
Add the stick of melted butter
Press into pan which you will make your cheesecake
No need to pre-bake
Make filling:
Beat sugar and cream cheese together until well blended and fluffy
Add eggs one by one, blending each egg
Add sour cream
Add vanilla
Pour into filling
Bake for about 50 minutes or until set
Allow to cool and place it in the fridge for about 4 hours
Sauce:
On medium heat, melt butter in a medium size sauce pan
Add brown sugar and let it melt together
Add cinnamon
Turn off heat and remove pan from heat, add the liquor
Add the chopped bananas
