Cajun chicken pitas

2.5 pounds chicken, cut into cubes (try to keep them close to the same size)
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tsp Slap Ya Mama original seasoning
5 grated cloves of garlic
1 tsp ground thyme
1 tsp ground oregano
1/2 tsp rosemary
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp basil

Mix all seasoning in a bowl
Add the olive oil and lemon juice to make a paste
Toss chicken in the bowl and coat it with the mixture
Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes

I chose to grill these. You can also put them in the oven on 350F, but it won’t have the same flavor!
Heat your grill hot enough you can sear these
Cook until the internal temp is reached for poultry
Serve with Tzatziki Sauce<below> and pita bread (don’t forget to do a quick grill or heat the pita bread)

Tzatziki Sauce {with a Cajun spin}
2 cups Greek yogurt
2 tbsp grated cucumber (strain, strain, strain!!!!)
Dill- like lots, okay.. lots, lots but just taste as you go because I feel like dill is a preference kind of herb
1/2tsp to 1 tsp Slap Ya Mama white pepper blend- again, you decide because this is based on preference
2 cloves of grated garlic
1/2 tsp vinegar
1 tsp lemon juice

Grate cucumber and allow it to strain. After you think you’ve strained it enough, put it between paper towels and squeeze the heck out of it.
Then allow it to strain again and repeat the process until paper towels are no longer wet!
Add all ingredients and mix
