Instant Pot Mac-n-Cheese
It has taken me a while to not be intimidated by my instant pot, y'all. I bought it originally to make yogurt. That's what I was really excited for. Have I made yogurt in it? Nope! But I have made this macaroni and it sure is delicious.
- 1lb elbow macaroni
- 4cups water
- 4tbsp butter
- 2tsp salt
- 1tsp pepper
- 1 1/4cup heavy cream
- 16oz your favorite cheeses. I use a blend of sharp cheddar and colby cheese.
- Place the first 5 ingredients in your instant pot.
- Lock the lid and seal, press manual for 5 minutes
- Do the manual release
- Take the lid off and pour in the cream and cheese
How easy is that? The best part of it all, this is truly a great macaroni! It is still creamy and has so much cheesy goodness that you expect.
