Red Wine Mushrooms

Mushrooms are fabulous, especially this recipe.  I love to make these on nights we have a steak dinner. They are the perfect side to a piece of meat. 


  • 1 large pack of large button mushrooms (cut into 4's, if large enough) 

  • 1 stick of butter 

  • 2 tbsp garlic 

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper 

  • 2 tbsp dry red wine or more to taste! 


  • In a sauté pan melt your stick of butter along with the garlic 

  • Cook down for a minute, don't let your garlic burn 

  • Place mushrooms in and let cook down for 10 minutes 

  • Put in your salt, pepper, and red wine 

  • Cook down for another 5-10 minutes until they get glazed
