Don't you just love asparagus? You know what I don't love? Huge freakin' asparagus, as pictured above. Ha! So, don't be like me... get normal sized asparagus or even small ones, they are so much better.
The flavors in this come together so nicely. I use smoked gouda along with thinly sliced pancetta which melts together to make a meaty, cheesy heaven.
1 can Crescent Rolls
3 oz sliced pancetta
12 slices of smoked gouda
1 bunch of asparagus
Egg wash- 1 egg mixed up with 1 tsp water
- Heat oven to 425
- Take the crescents out of the can and separate them
- Add ingredients on the larger side of the crescent:
- Slice of pancetta
- Smoked gouda
- Sprinkle salt and pepper on top
- Roll it up!
- Brush egg wash on top
- Cook for about 20 minutes, watch to make sure they don't get too brown
