There are many times that I make pasta and end up not using all the noodles. I always boil the whole package so I can save it for later and make something different. That is where this little spaghetti-style mac comes in. My mom would make something like this growing up. I always like to keep American cheese in my fridge, which we don't use a lot, so I can use it before it expires in this little pasta.
You can make this sauce right on the stove which is nice and easy.
- 1 lb angel hair pasta
- 1 stick of butter
- 2 cups of heavy cream
- 20-25 slices of American cheese
- 1 tsp Slap Ya Mama (more to taste)
- 1 tsp pepper
- Melt the butter in a pan
- Add heavy whipping cream
- Allow to come to boil
- Add cheese slices
- Let thicken a little
- Add pepper and slap ya mama seasoning
- Add noodles and mix in
